Natalie Arpin is a newly emerging artist fresh to the Toronto art scene. Her necessity and passion for creation began at an early age and has been a driving force since- taking inspiration from her life experiences, everyday possibilities, stories, and curious musings.
Arpin studied art and art history at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College- earning her both an Honours BA and a Diploma in Fine Art. Her abstract work focuses on a spontaneous, organic creative process combining a unique blend of unbridled, energetic paint applications and rational, conscious compositions. Her paintings, while bold and emotionally expressive, elegantly present a sense of atmosphere, intricacy, and abstracted narrative.
Arpin is proudly the first female artist to be represented by Toronto's Goodfellas Gallery, and has her first solo exhibition with the gallery in March 2014.
